The JetStor SATA
Model 416S 16 bay RAID array is
the Ultra320 SCSI attached version
of our most popular JetStor. Although the disks used are SATA
300, this model connects to the host via u320 SCSI. If you have
a fibre SAN or switch, check out the 4Gbit
fibre attached 416FC4 version.
Giving storage stability and resilience previously only associated
with much higher cost, the 416 series has what it takes to support
enterprise-wide mission critical business applications.
Engineered to meet stringent demands for continuous availability,
maximum resilience comes as standard with hot swap Disks, fans
& 3 x hot-swap PSU.
Management is a breeze with a choice of clear, informative management
tools and methods.
With your JetStor, we are happy to provide you with on-site
spares kit** so that you're covered night and day. Coupled with
our industry leading 3yr, next business day advanced replacement
warranty with unlimited telephone and email support, your investment
in JetStor brings service to a level you'd never though possible
at this price.
Technically, the
JetStor SATA 416S RAID array features a powerful 64-bit RISC
processor for blazingly fast I/O operations, parity-assist ASIC,
completely cableless backplane-based design, and storage capacities
only limited by current SATA drive capacities. All
in one small 3U enclosure.

Exclusive Advanced Data Sentry
technology (RAID 6) provides the highest level of data protection.
Multiplie simultaneous drive failures can be tolerated without
downtime or data loss.
Array Roaming feature gives administrators the ability to move
a complete raid set to another system without losing RAID configuration
and data on that raid set.
Redundant Flash Image provides an extra layer of protection against
the firmware image corruption. If the primary firmware of the
RAID controller becomes corrupted, the secondary firmware image
will automatically be used.
Full 48-bit ATA addressing standard support allows for up to
144 petabytes capacity per drive to be utilized in the RAID array.
ASIC assisted parity for lightning-fast throughput.
RAID controller provides RAID 0, 0+1, 1, 3, 5, and RAID 6, Global
Hot Spare Disk, Auto Rebuild, and up to 1GB of DDR ECC SDRAM-based
data cache.
Intelligent IDE/ATA backplane design (uses no cables) allows
"hot swapping" of disk canisters, power supplies, and fans for
increased reliability, lower cost, and ease of maintenance.
SNMP supported.
Built-in management ethernet port provides easy access to the
web-based GUI RAID Manager for configuration, management, and
monitoring functions. E-mail event notification is built-in.
Completely user configurable via the front panel.
Online Parity Consistency
verification feature insures RAID set integrity.
