The JetStor 405U Portable RAID System represents a new level for
transportable mobile data storage.
Connect
it via FireWire 800, USB 2.0 or external SATA or , it can safely
aquire and reliably store up to 5TB* of data on its rugged SATA
drives for later transfer or analysis.
*More dense drive technologies will inevitably increase this
amount.
Your
JetStor 405U will come with five tough, reloadable, lockable,
drive trays each holding a rugged SATA drive. The latch design
gives you instant access to your drives from the front making
it easy to load, reload, or replace hard disks at any time. VSPL
are pleased to also offer these trays as a seperately orderable
item folllowing user feedback, please contact us with your enquiry.
Equally
at home in the office and the field, you'll be able to carry your
storage around using the built-in handle, meaning multiple terabytes
can be securely hauled around with ease. You will be able to use
your JetStor 405U to transport backups offsite, carry extremely
large projects easily, or perform field backups and aquisition
knowing that the data will still be there when you get back.
The
many RAID options available with JetStor 405U give you the power
to configure it how you like. We suggest RAID 5, or even as a
RAID 6 for the highest level of data protection available for
your files. There is even a password-protectable web GUI for RAID
configuration and management. For added convenience, you can also
configure it via the front panel making RAID configuration simple.
